HID-compliant touch screen device missing
« on: November 15, 2017, 10:39:27 AM »

The two HID compliant touchscreen devices were not working on my Thinkpad X1 Yoga - investigation showed that they were not connected to the hardware.
So, I uninstalled both devices - thinking that Windows would fix this at the next update. No dice.
How do I reinstall the HID compliant touchscreen devices?
How then do I enable them so they are connected to the hardware?

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
